CHELSEA — What do Michigan native and celebrity Jeff Daniels, the sport pickleball and two women from Greater Lansing have in common?
All three are involved in the play “Pickleball” that’s premiering at the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea this weekend.
“It’s like half-court basketball for elderly people,” Daniels said while describing the game during an interview on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in 2021.
The play runs Sept. 30 through Dec. 17 at Purple Rose Theatre Company, which Daniels founded in 1991.
